Burnout— Enhancing Resilience and Flexibility
Note the word “enhance”— physicians ARE resilient. But our environments and the expectations placed upon us can tax that resilience severely. Burnout was in full force before the COVID pandemic, before budget cuts, before… It has always been a shadow in the life of physicians and is unfortunately an increasingly noted issue. With time and support from a fellow physician as coach, burnout can be addressed in a safe, confidential* space. *Confidentiality cannot be maintained in cases of concern for self or other harm but resources will be offered.

Workplace Distress— Weathering the Storm
Stress in the workplace does not only occur with caring for sick patients, dealing with heavy workloads, or looming deadline pressures. No matter the workplace, human interaction at times means errors, complaints, or conflicts— adding to this distress is the lack of control we sometimes have over many factors. When under these distressing circumstances, a fellow physician as coach can reflect with you to facilitate acceptance, solution finding and forward movement.
